We are currently building future-facing projects using the outdated, linear, and extractive timelines of the "hustle" economy. This misalignment is the primary source of creative burnout and narrative flattening.
This workshop is a strategic intervention for artists and leaders who are ready to reclaim their Temporal Sovereignty. We will identify your specific temporal needs and establish the "Time Rules" of the worlds you are building. We shift the focus from deadlines (which imply an end) to cycles (which ensure a legacy).
In this 2-hour intensive, we will map:
The History of Time: Tracing the shift from ancestral, cyclical rhythms to the linear, standardised clock-time born of colonial industry.
The Temporal Needs Audit: Identifying your personal rhythms.
World-Building Rules: Establishing the temporal boundaries and laws of your specific story or project.
Seismic Pacing: How to build high-impact work that moves at the speed of trust and ceremony.
Indigenous Temporal Modalities in Oceania: Relational, non-linear frameworks where the past, present, and future coexist to guide sovereign, grounded action.
These sessions are designed for those who are tired of 'the way it’s always been done.' We are building a new architecture for how we live, work, and create.
This session falls on the 5th July to align with the new moon and new year on the 12th July, the best time to rest, reflect and evaluate.
Time: 12-2pm NZT.
Read about the facilitator, Emele Ugavule, here
Due to popular demand this is a bi-monthly offering. Participant amount is limited to 4 people per workshop to ensure quality experience and maximum impact. If you would prefer a 1:1 workshop, you can book one here.
